For this release, I did some audio spelunking and pulled together a collection of tracks focusing on the gritty, dark, claustrophobic and cavernous; the underground and submerged, the secret and hidden. In sound terms, many of these include elements from home-made instruments I've shared pictures* of on the Ukuphambana page in the past (more so than on any previous release).

Very much in contrast to the sparser, more abstract feel of the Outright EP, the sound here is grounded and concrete. Good for listening in dark, limnal spaces where the boundary between the real and unreal thins and what was long buried resurfaces.
